Tate Lates; August | 25 August
This Friday, the TATE Modern once again hosts its monthly LATE; the whole gallery open to the public with pop-ups, bars, and a DJ. This month, the focus is on one of the best art shows of the year, Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power.

The Design Museum has gone from strength to strength since their relocation to the refurbished Holland Park site. Their current exhibitions are no exception; each room needs at least an hour of attention, no small statement in the current climate.
Plywood: Material of the Modern World | Until November
This exploration of a fundamental, overlooked, and innovative material has been well received by all who have visited, from the creative to the technical minds alike. The showcase looks at both iconic designs and ground-breaking ones. Don't forget to look at AL_A's new entrance while you're there!
The Hive at Kew Gardens | Until November
Kew Gardens is a much loved gem in London's history and the botanical world. The installation, which has sat in the grounds since last summer, was created by Wolfgang Buttress and responds to a real-life beehive through light and sound.
Open House London | Register now
Open House London is one of the most exciting and highly anticipated festivals in the architectural calendar. Due to this massive popularity, it is essential to register now. The celebration of buildings and homes, allows over quarter of a million people, the nosiest of neighbours, to explore behind closed doors completely for free.
