Private Tour: Lumen by Jenny Sabin Studio at MoMA PS1 | August 8
Join the AIANY Interiors Committee for a private tour of Lumen designed by Jenny Sabin, who won the MoMA PS1 Young Architect's Program (YAP) earlier this year. Lumen is an interactive and immersive outdoor installation that evolves over the course of a day, providing a cooling respite from the midday sun and then to emitting responsive glowing light after sunset.
A/D/O and Prototropic will host a conversation about climate change and the future of design, architecture, and construction in island and waterfront cities. Discussion panelists include Kulapat Yantrasast (wHY Architecture), Suchi Reddy (Reddymade Design), Joseph Mizzi (14+ Foundation) and Michelle Young and Augustin Pasquet (Untapped Cities).
Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical | Open now until October 8
