The NYTimes article was nicely done on Baan and with any luck his work will shift the paradigm of architectural photography a bit - bringing a more human and tangible perspective to the sterile imagery we're used to.

The great Julius Schulman has been breaking down the typical sterile architectural photograph for decades, bringing in a sense of humanity in his choice of views and the inclusion of people and props.
