We're having yet another book giveaway! Five Archinectors will win a copy of the Paul T. Frankl Autobiography, published by DoppelHouse Press and edited by notable design scholar Christopher Long and Aurora McClain from the University of Texas at Austin.
On top of that, another winner and their guest will be able to attend the exclusive U.S. Book Launch reception happening this Friday, March 7 at the historic Village Green in Baldwin Hills, Los Angeles. Hosted by the SoCal chapter of Docomomo/US, Professor Long and Paulette Frankl — the daughter of Paul T. Frankl — will feature presentations at this event. (More info in flyer below.)

Keep reading for more details about the book:
"Paul T. Frankl | Autobiography has already garnered much media coverage in Austria,
Frankl’s birthplace. His eye-opening memoir was released in October 2013 in Vienna to
coincide with a retrospective of Frankl’s work at the Kiesler Stiftung, curated by Professor Long and Laura McGuire.
Frankl, a prolific writer about design, had died in 1958, leaving his manuscript unpublished. His beautiful furniture survives in museums and collections. The book includes Frankl’s original text, as well as front and back matter written by Professor Long, detailed endnotes, and 85 photographs and illustrations to accompany the text, many of which have never before been seen.
Christopher Long—by editing Frankl’s autobiography and through a previous Frankl
monograph (Yale University Press, 2007)—has reawakened interest in this designer and architect, who many consider the dean of modern American designers."
