oooooh! an opinion about architecture on tv! woo hoo!
(i love the nouvel project, but i also love when people care about what's going up in their neighborhood. maybe this ad will get other people to say 'hey, but that tower would be great!', and we've got the start of a dialogue. wishful thinking?)
other than the potential dialogue, it's all kind of ridiculous isn't it? who ever heard of building a tall building in manhattan?
drjekyll - i also like how all of the surroundings are flat in the shadow study, making the shadow look like a homogenous blanket rather than the broken-up slivers of shadow that would catch here and there. i wonder if that shadow would actually make it all the way to the park or be blocked by something else tall-ish in between.

These people are crazy.
Do you suppose they paid an architecture firm to produce graphics for a fight against architecture?
I especially like the shadow "study", probably generated during the Winter Solstice.
