In case you haven't yet noticed, we just published the latest installment in our UpStarts series. This time we've put the spotlight on LA-based Ball-Nogues Studio. Archinect guest contributor Katya Tylevich talks to Benjamin Ball about their first commissions, managing steady growth with limited resources, their current installation at the Museum of Contemporary Art, digital technology vs manual labor, and transitioning from temporary installations to international and permanent structures. An inspiring read for anyone planning to start a practice, or anyone who is just wanting to look at some really beautiful work.
