The Hamsun Centre, is an intriguing and special building by the American architect Steven Holl. A skewed tower rising from the site of the old parsonage where Børset read to me, the black, timber-clad building has been designed as the architectural personification of Hamsun. It is a building that should encourage visitors to Nordland. Guardian
