Is there a geopolitical subtext in your reference to Taiwan as Formosa? I only ask as I have no idea if you're from there and being ironic, or Portuguese, or someone who still dreams of Constantinople?
I suspect there is some similarities formally, but much of Ito stadium has to do with climatic mapping whilst Eisenman's an obscure intellectual one. I like both independently and find the comparison an intelligent point of departure

Note the underlying geo-political subtext as it is Japanese-designed, built and celebrated in the south of the Island Formosa.

anyone else see the resemblance between Ito's stadium and some of Eisenman's stadium projects, such as the Deportivo La Coruna or his competition entry for the Munich football stadium?http://www.eisenmanarchitects.com/
