Anneli Rufus and Kristan Lawson, coauthors of The Scavengers' Manifesto, recently took a tour of Berkeley's David Brower Center and documented the trip on their blog.
A whopping 53 percent of its construction involves recycled materials, which makes this complex of offices, conference rooms, public space, art gallery, theater, organic restaurant, and more into the world’s biggest scavenged building.
