Danny Forster just reminded me that his show, Build it Bigger, goes back on the air tonight at 10pm on the Science Channel. The season opener takes us behind the scenes of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, the nation's biggest football stadium. As some of you may recall, Build it Bigger began its life as Extreme Engineering - check out our interview with Danny from 2006 when the show welcomed Danny as host.

Damn! We don't get Science Channel in the dorms... I'm really tempted to drive home to watch on FiOS...
There's a Science Channel? I don't know if I have this either....
Let's hope he's learned to control the hand waving and the body twitching that sometimes left me thinking he was the fourth member of the Beastie Boys ...
That Danny just keeps getting cuter.
The stadium, though...not sure it can be saved.
Actually, I find it awesome (in the kinda-sublime sense of that word) that these enormous structural elements getting placed always comes down to a guy with a rope pulling on a huge truss, or a guy with a sledgehammer whacking it the last three inches. Amazing.
I thought it was a great stadium for 2010. However, they failed to mention a few facts that I read a few years back. Jerry Jones actually began buying scrap metals about 10 years ago in preparation for this "marvel". And, the sky boxes/ground boxes located at field level so that the fans are on and around the players during the game. Jerry Jones background is worth a read if you enjoy sports.
