A German biohacker by the name of Tim Cannon has cut open his arm and embedded a Circadia 1.0 computer that transmits his biometric data to his Android devices. [...]
“I think that our environment should listen more accurately und more intuitively to what’s happening in our body,” Cannon explained. “So if, for example, I’ve had a stressful day, the Circadia will communicate that to my house and will prepare a nice relaxing atmosphere for when I get home: dim the lights, let in a hot bath.”

What do you want to bet the NSA has already tapped this?
I love this premise. But the thought of something embedded in me like that gives me the creeps. Can I get one with a lifetime supply of Prozac, too? Alright then.
Reminds me of Minority Report...I can see 20 years from now going to some seedy "doctor" to get my system upgraded on the cheap because I can't afford Apple's new BiOS 10.
This is a lot like my industrial design thesis (2003). My crits thought I was nuts. There is room for an extrapolated version of this, and it'll happen in our lifetimes.
Genius!

“So if, for example, I’ve cut open my fucking arm, the Circadia will communicate that and call the police, who will have me 5150'd to a local mental institution."
This is some brutal cyber punk stuff right here. All for his temperature?? At least throw in some cholesterol readings or something.
@ Christopher Perrodin:
my thoughts exactly. That is a HUGE thermometer, would it have been that much bigger if they added a heart rate monitor or something?
+++citizen, LOL!

Says the self-unaware guy who needs a computer to tell him he's had a bad day. Does his brain not function? I know when I've had a bad day or stressful day. And the last thing I want is my smartphone to remind me of that with alarms and graphs.
