For recent architecture school graduates trying to make it in the professional world, life can be difficult. With construction slowing, money running out, and entry level hires dwindling, the options seem limited. However, the severe and nearly unprecedented nature of the lows to which this economic crisis has taken us along with the arrival of a new President in Washington makes me think that the current architectural doldrums might actually be an opportunity in disguise for those of us just joining the work force.
