I'm sure that they've thought through all the angles, but like I think I said elsewhere, it seems a shame to be moving further out from the rest of LA.
actually el segunda shouldn't be considered far from la. gehry never acted like he was a part of anything local and the office is engaged in any local action anyway. i think this will be their sixth move in thirty some years that i've seen of.

Well if anything it's too bad for the staff. What if you want to go to a lecture or a happy hour after work? The drive is now that much longer. Plus, the office used to have a fairly decent crop of bike commuters from the West Side, I guess they can still take the path down the beach, but now they'll have to go all the way around the marina.

am I the only one who is puzzled with his "trivial" vernacular for those trellis?! didn't get it at the serpentine, don't get it here...
but then again, it's his office!
