sounds like a step toward what I hope will be a long-term goal for google earth: incorporation of a chronological slider bar. (to whatever degree is known) transition between time periods of a place-- shifting political boundaries, phases of development etc. throughout history. if it eventually all gets modeled in 3D, that much cooler. obvious limits today-- but someday...
