One nice thing about online bookstore giants like Amazon is that the smaller niche-market shops have become much more interesting, offering thoughtfully curated collections targeting highly specialized readers. One of my favorite sources for design books is YouWorkForThem... and they're currently having a sale on their architecture titles. Get'em while they last

oh but there should be better examples than this Paul, You Work for them has many "mainstream" books which are available even in non-architectural bookstores, like the architecture now books and mutations and minimalism.... i dunno where but im sure there's even more interesting options out there... anyone with one to share?
YWFT is more specialized in the graphic design titles, catering more toward the graphic design/web design community. I usually hit up their shop when I'm looking for non-architectural inspiration... but their architecture books are quite well-priced right now, hence the news-worthiness.
Either way I have a new Breuer book on the way, thanks for the tip.
sure Paul i realized that when got into "pattern design", i will try to remember and send u links of "small bookstores" specialized in what ppl like to call architecture :P
problem is a lot of "specialized" websites dont have a serious selection of books, and just go with whaever is cool and bold (hence a lot of hadid, and such)
this news post cost me $200.
yeah, i would have spent that much but you guys took all my damn el croquisssssssssssss.
