Google has unleashed it's latest project - a new web browser called Chrome. Google says, "Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier."
"By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. "
A combined search and address bar quickly takes users where they want to go, often in just a few keystrokes.
-- When users open a new tab in Google Chrome, they'll see a page that includes snapshots of their most-visited sites, recent searches and bookmarks, making it even easier to navigate the web.
-- Each browser tab operates as a separate process; by isolating tabs, should one tab crash or misbehave, others remain stable and responsive, and users can continue working without having to restart Google Chrome.
-- Google also built a new JavaScript engine, V8,which not only speeds up today's web applications, but enables a whole new class of web applications that couldn't exist on today's browsers.

am using it now.
Firefox, I love you, but chrome is waaay to fast for you to catch up...
I just installed it, too, but have to take it for an extended test spin yet to see how fast it really is.
Does anyone know how to turn the title bar on? It appears that Chrome just completely kicked that out...
So wait - do I need to (is it possible to) use it on a Mac? Because I also loved Firefox but on Mac I use Safari.
No mac version yet, but it is damn fast!
Now, I need all my Firefox extensions please.

Some of Chrome's most interesting features:

Google has since revised the terms of service, modifying the objectionable bits.
They changed from 9 point to micro text ?
