Nicolai Ouroussoff visits the Yale School of Art and Architecture by Paul Rudolph which was recently restored and updated by Gwathmey Siegel & Associates.

While he finds the effects of the careful restoration stunning and believes it will force a major reappraisal of Modernist history and put Rudolph back on the pedestal where he belongs he notes that the addition "prevents this from being a total triumph".
