being influenced is one thing but this rendering/product is flat out cheap copy, angle by angle.
i suggested hans schroun's schminke house influence to denari in my interview as well.
I don't consider that a rip-off. It may have been inspired, but it's not a copy. The bathroom forms by UsTogether are quite beautiful albeit not that functional.
I've never seen a bowl with sides made of more than one material that I ever though looked good. All I see is leaks at the joints, or at the very least mold.
yes... anyway, why make a fuss? Even if it were a straight copy, I think Denari's work has been a legit retro-quarry for a while now. and not a particularly good one. This is just an example of third world countries not getting their magazines in the mail on time...
i wouldn't say denari ripped off someone else, but those forms were certainly around before him. just let it flow around. what's the problem with that?
i think this bathroom stuff looks pretty sexy as long as you don't actually put water in it.

I call rendering! That bathroom does not exist in physical space.
(and anyway, Denari was heavily influenced by Syd Mead, I think)
why is this a headline?

Are these available for sale on Second Life?
When will we look back and notice how cheesy it was to fold things and generate forms?
