French researchers have created an elastic material that can be recycled and is self-healing. When broken or cut, their "supramolecular rubber" can be simply repaired -- without heat or adhesives -- by bringing together fractured surfaces to self-heal at room temperature. Repaired samples recuperate their elasticity and the process of breaking and healing can be repeated many times. LINK
