Retrofitting big box stores is really exciting. I assume it will happen similarly as abandoned inner city factory spaces have been re purposed.
However, any suburban "fix" where the solution is convincing suburban folks to crave urban density misses the point of the suburbs and is doomed to total and complete failure (I'm looking at you MOMA).
