I am very sad to inform that Norman Foster has won the FC Barcelona stadium competition. Sorry for been biased here but I was hoping for Herzog de Meuron's entry to win the competition.
No seriously, congratulations to Sir Foster and his studio team for winning such an amazing project commission. Forca Barca!

why did you hoped H&dM's entry to win if we don't even know what the winner entry looks like yet -not to say the finalists..-?
(a scale model of Foster's project will be shown for the first time this next weekend at the stadium during the Barça-Sevilla match)
