Last month Roderick Morris visited the Palazzo Barbarano, in Vicenza Italy. Although the Palazzo Barbarano has been the home of the International Center for Architectural Studies, or CISA, since 1958, it is now also home to a newly opened Palladio Museum. Timed to the opening of the museum, Guido Beltramini, the curator of the new museum has also published a short but invaluable account of the architect’s life, 'The Private Palladio'.
