Rashid talks of , “The world is becoming very visually savvy and info-savvy...If the art world is so flexible, so personalized, so complex and so aesthetic, why not the physical world ?” However after seeing the 3rd photograph of 14, I felt that I had seen it all. what do you think? designws.com via dezain

What happens when you give an ego maniac free reign? This Crap!!!
This is digi-pop gone mad......Somebody!?!?, Stop him!!!!
I think some of the wall and floor patterns are kind of cool, but this design isn't really as "flexible" and "personalized" and "info-savvy" as Rashid implies. It's really just a static composition - conventional, in a way.
Speaking of static, does the use of archispeak-like pretentious language by interior designers such as Rashid mean interior design is achieving respect as a profession?
random thought #1
i have this growing suspicion that illustrator will ruin architecture....
random though #2
i wonder what karim and hani talk about over the dinner table...
k: 'hey bro...why isn't architecture cool'
h: "shut up stupid face and go back to designing soap bottles"
k: "you're just jealous 'cause i have more built work than you and i'm not even an architect"
h: "yeah...well...that's because your work is easily palatable and easy to build....we're building geometry, not just printing it"
k: "so...i look better in pink than you"
h: "shut up"
k: "you shut up"
h:"i told you to first"
k: 'did not"
h: "did too"
okay....i could do that for hours, but it wouldn't be good for the rest of the archinect community.
best thing about it is that it looks like it can be removed easily when it looks dated next year. we can just think of it as a big exhibit design.
hope deutsche bank recycles!
Welcome in Lollipopland!
This is too much for a bank, i mean, it's ok to be informal, but this smells like chocolate...
It's Willy Wonka's Deutsche Bank Factory!!!
