she entered a competition in L'Hospitalet for a couple of towers (one offices, the other residential), but (I think) she didn't win...

though formally distant, it didn't seem very different from the Torre Cube twisted ceiling-fan concept (at least comparing the floor-plans)
Carme is underrated in Barcelona, she -and other local folks- should get more work instead of bringing in Chipperfields, Perraults, Nouvels, and the like..

the expressiveness of the line quality and implied variable speed of movement in those drawings is lovely. They are a textbook on architectural drawings as art.
the sculptural form and texture of the built project is also equally lovely.
That tower should have gotten a PA award or something. Its kahn/ melnikov/ aalto/...
its just nice.
