are exhibiting work at Northeastern University's Ryder Hall through March 15, 2006. With little to no budget, Höweler + Yoon addressed issues of architectural representation by pixelating the wall itself with self-adhesive labels. "ONE dpi simultaneously addresses the futility of trying to represent an architectural project--a spatial idea, as image, while at the same time challenging the image itself to become spatial-- to participate in the architecture of the space of representation." Cool effect. Personally, I would've preferred to see each dot a solid color. Reminds me of the rasturbator.
I love to rasturbate. I still need to find a nice project to use that process for...
John, do you really think this is the forum for all your rasturbation fantasies?
hey, I rasturbate in private. At least until I have something to show off
Yes, this project would have been much more interesting is it was actaully 1dpi instead of 300 dpi with a 1" dot mask over the image.
