A blog has the following bizarre curiosity: Daniel Libeskind Designed 911 Memorial With Above Ground WTC Ruins Opens in Padua, Italy Perpetuating a Discredited WTC Urban Nostradamus Myth. The blog also highlights more numerological devices (like the 1776' height) and claims to debunk them, a la wedge o-light. See also the cited omnidecor press release.

A few thoughts: the press release just says that the latitude of New York City is connected to Padua through the spine of Libeskind's (ugly!) book - this doesn't mean that those two cities share a latitude. (On the other hand, who the f--- knows what it means - the height of the spine in metres is NY's latitude? Or its... width? Its weight? Who knows - but it doesn't say that Padua and New York are at the same latitude. It's obscure and ambiguous, but it's not necessarily a geographical claim).
Also, the only person who mentions Nostradamus and the cities-at-the-same-latitude thing is that blogger - it's not mentioned anywhere by Libeskind or by omnidecor's press release.
I could be wrong about that, but if you read the blog and the press release and Libeskind's site, the only person mentioning Nostradamus and the shared latitude thing is the person who writes that blog. It seems to be their own personal red herring.
Or no? What do you think?
What do I think, or the general public?
You, Jav. You.
I want to hear you.
:)
I think Libeskind gets these kinds of bloggers (the ones that know Nostradamus prophecies) busting his chops because he got into all this form-as-numerical-symbol in the first place.
does cecil balmond and all his numerical mysticism mumbo jumbo also have the same bloggers after him?
i don't think any of cecil balmond's fractals have any external references or the same sort of masonic aura, but I'll let you know if I see it, of course.
