This is my hometown! It's a decently-sized city (over 1M) and is extremely wealthy because of oil money, but there's not much of a design culture there. Not much of an urban sensibility, no architecture school, and a vibrant but very small arts community.
This is pretty interesting because I thought that museums were the ONE thing that people still trusted architects to do. Guess not!
