According to the Post, George Pataki is doing everything in his power to restore confidence in the rebuilding process. In a speech, Pataki said that the NYPD has reviewed proposed security improvements. Pataki also named James Kallstrom, a former New York City FBI chief, to oversee security issues at the Freedom Tower as part of a new Ground Zero management team that also includes the governor's chief of staff, John Cahill (previous update). The governor's "friend" Donald Trump reasserted his view about the Tower ('disgusting' and a 'pile of junk') and called for--along with others in the following link-- taller, better versions of the Twin Towers on MSNBC's Hardball (w/vids).
