Perth, Australia-based robotics company FBR – formerly known as Fastbrick Robotics – has built its first two-storey house using its Hadrian X block-laying robot, which has been in development since 2015. — Global Construction Review
According to Global Construction Review, "it was the first time the robotic block-laying approach incorporated steel reinforced concrete columns and a concrete floor slab placed atop the structure’s first story."

I couldn't see what bonding material was being used to keep the blocks in place. It seems that, although consistent, there is an empty gap between them. Care to explain how is the wall kept from air infiltration and movement of the blocks? Steel reinforcing is a good idea, but is it being used at every block void? Doesn't that forbid cost efficiency in the long run of multiple units?
are we really in need of robots to replace masons? How about hiring real people to renovate the houses and neighborhoods where other real people want to live and take a little pride in their work. The so-called "lessers" of the animal kingdom do a much better job of ecology than we brainiacs! AAACH!
how about not using bricks at all, but materials with much lower carbon and ecological footprints alltogether and biobased and renewable etc. obviously. It's like investing in more car lanes to battle congestion and air pollution when you actually need a bicycle infrastructure...\
