We want our time here to have meant something. We don’t want to be defined by the scandals, the corruption, and the greed exhibited by the company’s leadership. We want to leave behind a legacy that represents the true character and intentions of WeWork employees.
We want those being laid off to be provided fair and reasonable separation terms commensurate with their contributions, including severance pay, continuation of company-paid health insurance and compensation for lost equity.
— WeWorkers Coalition
According to a recently-launched web page, WeWork employees are launching an organizational effort to secure workers rights as the company contemplates laying off thousands in the wake of its high-profile collapse.
The group, which refers to itself as the WeWorkers Coalition, writes, "We are asking to be treated with humanity and dignity so we can continue living life while searching to make a living elsewhere. In consideration of recent news, we will also need clarity around the contracts our cleaning staff will be required to sign in order to keep their jobs, which are being outsourced to a third party. Those of us who have visas through WeWork need assistance and adequate time to find a new employer to sponsor our respective visas."

WeWork = Hip Cool work place with a Keg type of Regus
Regus was incorporated in 1989 by British businessman Mark Dixon. The company provides serviced offices in its workspace facilities.
Bunch of moronic morons "wework employees" who thought they were part of another moronic company like Apple or Amazon or Uber (all bullshit companies!)
You liberal zealots are so ignorant of your own innate tendancies. You deny Christianity, Islam, Judiasm and related as outdated modes of faith. You deny Jesus, Mohamed, and other prophets for Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg or some other silicon valley douchebag. You think you're progressive because you believe in populist Reddit and Twitter streaming PC culture. Your hero's are actors - professional fake people. Your source for the gospel is media, gossip queens and click baiters.
you're literally this
and your Adam the only sane one in the bunch.
suckers!
to be clear, I'm not insulting the "cleaners" who already know better, they know you young rich yuppy silicon scum don't know better. they were just trying to earn a living for their family and so what if they were here illegally, don't play that card, because you already did for your advantage. and cut the visa bullshit, you put unions out of business, see the Rats
But at least Stevie J and Mar Zuckawhateva actually exist(ed). This is something Jesus, mo, and co do not have in common. So, maybe we’re still moving in the right direction: indoctrination to real people and things va imaginary gooblycocks.
we work employees (the kids who went to college)
This is like trying to unionize the Titanic's cabin staff after the ship scraped the iceberg.
Adam Neumann walked away with about billion dollars when Softbank bought his stock. So far 1,500 layoffs have been announced. 1B divided 1.5K is a cool $666K per employee. Just an observation. So, Adam, how about some more Green, woke, enviro, New Age quotes? No? To busy dusting off that Israeli second passport and hailing a cab, oops, Uber, to JFK airport?
Let's not forget Adam's best bud, Jamie Diamond of JPMorgan Chase, who was only too willing to underwrite the Wework garbage IPO for hefty fees and had plans to foster it off on his customers with a 'buy' recommendation before it blew up in his and Adam's face. Could not happen to two more disgusting people.
