Starting January 28, the Spring 2019 Lectures and Exhibitions series at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture will “address some of the design disciplines’ most pressing challenges, present innovative perspectives on the future of design, and celebrate leaders that have paved the way for change”.
The series features a lineup of renowned speakers: West 8 Principal Claire Agre, Deborah Berke, Berlin-based Stih and Schnock, Joan Busquets, ksestudio from Athens, Greece, Michael Murphy of MASS Design Group, WOJR's William O'Brien, Elena Manferdini, and Ana Maria Leon.
A few other events this spring include the “Paving the Way: Female Pioneers in Architecture, or What's Wrong with the Fountainhead?” symposium in April, the “Chasing Perfection: The Legacy of Architect John S. Chase” exhibition, and more.
