We are seeking to define our position in the contemporary architectural world.
We are not aspiring to change the world. We are willing to redefine ourselves in order to correspond.
We do not look for big ideas. We prefer to affect things from the inside. Sabotaging, deceiving corrupting, infecting, our work performs as a micro-genetic operation that triggers a process of mutation. We prefer to remain hidden and control things from the background.
If architectural relevance today lies in a forced need for innovation and difference, based on a fascination specific to tools and processes, or if architectural relevance today is to be found in a populist approach that compromises according to the common aesthetic, we select to be irrelevant.
We are not interest in the spectacular surface of things but the conflicting mechanisms that both literally and metaphorically support it. We like boring and ordinary things, we like looking at what is not visible. Our ideas emerge through zooming in and not by zooming out.
