Progress on the second highest tower in the Hudson Yards mega-development has reached a milestone. 35 Hudson Yards has officially topped out at 1,009 feet. Now that it has reached that height, it is the ninth tallest structure in New York City and 19th tallest in the United States. Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group are responsible for the development. Next door, 30 Hudson Yards is tantalizingly close to topping out, but the milestone has not yet officially occurred. — New York YIMBY

Beautiful project. I love the gravitas of the Heatherwick centerpiece. It really shows how when we all work together, everyone benefits and will provide affordable housing for tens of thousands of New Yorkers. A true symbol of sustainability for our grandchildren to behold. The elegant forms and innovative use of glass and the subtle, considered elevations will be a wonder for millennia beyond. I think Trump should buy one and put his name on it. That's the only thing missing.
LOL
Reminds me of the Predator -- reflective glass camouflage, architecture that doesn't want to be seen--for vampire capitalist hunters. I'm sure all of the glass is eco-friendly.....hmmm
Not a peep of criticism from the New York Times that is so concerned about social good climate change blah blah blah--as long as its in a third world country. If its a big development from their real estate technocrat friends, no problem. Makes you wonder who they are really in the tank for.
Sad when you look at what could have been. Ada Louise Huxtable was right, the Holl plan was the only one with vision. Too bad there is no design leadership in NYC.
