The NLA returns with its Design Surgeries on how to improve your home. Once again, these workshops consultations are free (with optional donations going to Article 25), which is an incredible opportunity to get advice and ideas from leading architects.

London: Design Capital - Transport & Infrastructure, Powered by PechaKucha | 23 May

This snappy PechaKucha event aims to explore the future of London's infrastructure, and asks the question 'are we thinking radically enough?'. Going beyond the idea of autonomous vehicles, speakers will challenge our ideas of the future, and draw upon global examples. Guests include Transport for London's Director of Surface Strategy and Planning.

The Young Entrepreneurs in Property (YEP) is hosting a panel debate on the state of the London housing market. Further to RIBA's current exhibition, this talk looks into the impact and reasons behind the recent decision to list James Stirling's Number One Poultry. With speakers including architects of other postmodern buildings, this event will explore how and why we should be celebrating these buildings, not simply listing them.
