As the story goes, the original owner of this unwieldy building located in Willow, Alaska built his house shortly after a forest fire with a clear view of Mount McKinley and Denali National Park. It reminds me of our own "Everything Wrong" house in Naptown, where a guy added on to his house, the neighbor complained, so he bought the complainer's house and just kept on going.
how is this braced for lateral stability? it looks like a good breeze could blow it over
also, it looks like all the additions are wrapped in plastic, which is torn in quite a few places?
i am concerned that this is not a safe place, and i hope there is some sort of building department in this jurisdiction that will review it for structural integrity.
