There were great ideological battles in the past about work-life balance, but that was before ubiquitous streaming. interesting exercise, but too optimistic in light of the state of the world today. Things will get a lot worse before they get better for the immense majority of the population. Yeah, go ask a bunch of phd students how they see themselves in 50 years, and you get a nice polished mirror full of dreams.
