With the issues of serving openly in the military and same-sex marriage now largely resolved, the fight for all-gender restrooms has emerged as the latest civil rights issue in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (L.G.B.T.) community — particularly the “T” part.
Schools and universities (...), museums (...), restaurants (...) and even the White House (...) are recasting the traditional men’s/women’s room, resulting in a dizzying range of (often creative) signage and vocabulary.

if that was not the law and I was facing a prison sentence, I would defidently put on a skirt and claim to be a female...mens prison is far worse...
as I said, I personally would not be bothered in the least bit if a transgender person used the same restroom as me. The implications of that however lead to unisex rooms. I would not support the idea of a unisex bathroom because it is a danger. Not because of transgender people, but because of crazy people.
men can't be trusted. like i said i send my young daughters into a the all ladies room and stand outside the door instead of me going into the men's bathroom with them. in other words, even if i am present and ready to crush some dudes skull if they get out align, i trust ladies that much more and prefer my girls to go into the all female. jla-x you have a point.
With a unisex bathroom dad wouldn't have to wait outside while the girls tinkled.
Following Miles, It’s 3 signs - “Men” – Women” – “Other” (single user room) with a barrier free symbol, no more urinals 12” from the floor and “Toilet Suite Stalls” that nobody ever uses…not sure about “Other”, perhaps “Family” or “Family & Friends” :)....the first thing they need to do is pass a law to keep them clean.
It isn't that complicated. Everyone has to pee. Get over it already.
.
Well, I wouldn't advocate going outside, cuz, "crazy people".
Again, simple is as simple does. How's that box of chocolates?
I imagine, j-laxative, unless your daughter is a perv and looks under bathroom stalls, how would your daughter be in danger of a trans-person using the toilet? I would think that if your daughter did that, you'd be in more danger of embarrassment for not teaching your child some manners. And, if by some level of stupid, a guy puts on a dress, and assaults a child, the last thing he'll be charged with is impersonating a woman.
Won't waste time responding...already has been addressed...read....you lose.
