Release a rendering of a very tall, very shiny glass tower looming over an idyllic mountain village and the Internet goes bananas. That's what happened earlier this week when Morphosis Architects of Los Angeles released its design renderings for a new luxury hotel in Vals, a low-key spa town in the Swiss Alps. The design, conceived by Morphosis founder Thom Mayne, would check in at a whopping 1,250 feet, making it the tallest building in the European Union. — LA Times

Lightperson and jla-x, you guys are famous!
We address this project on the podcast this week...and we disagree with one another on it!
Archinect keeps it real as usual
LOL.
funny how many people see the things we post.
/\ :-)
I wished they'd talk back more.........more than once in the physical world has a client, family member, friend, or co-worker essentially asked me about a comment I made or a post somewhere on the web. What annoys me is they don't start their questioning with "I read you wrote....." instead the tip toe around it, like I don't know where that thought in their head came from............GO archinect....wait is it Thursday Podcast time wohooo have RFI'S into the wee hours....
Olaf you can do RFI's while listening to a podcast? Impressive! I need non-lyric music when answering questions.
Is it possible that this is an April Fools joke? Zumthor proposes oil puddle spanning Wilshire, Mayne posits glass tower near Thermae Vals?
