Kudos to Mr. Cummings" Responding to the discussion in Archinect Sessions Episode #19: Lscapeisaverb offered up some suggestions "Given how engaged everyone was with the topic, I think the Slavery Park/Museum deserves more time on the show with one addition- voices of color...It's a problematic topic and exciting to hear the discussion in this venue...I just think it's an opportunity to really explore that relationship in a meaningful way."

The students researched using "Scrap Tires...Animal By Product...Cow Lips...Sorted Waste...Fish Skin" in "innovative ways...to turn our trash into treasure". jla-x thought "this is the type of research that needs to be happening more!".
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute announced Dean of Architecture Evan Douglis will be presented the John Q. Hejduk Award, by Cooper Union's Alumni Association at their Founder’s Day Celebration on April 26, 2015.

Larchinect was looking for tips for "a concept involving what I would presume wants to be 'laser etched' black and white historic photos to perforated stainless steel panels". bowling_ball started things off by noting scale shouldn’t be a problem if you live in a large enough city, "This can be done with either laser cutting or water jet cutting" just need the right fabricator.
green man wanted to chat about African graphics. Reacting to only the first few comments gruen was surprised "*facepalm* the level of ignorance you (OP and NS) have all displayed is astounding". Later on in the conversation Non Sequitur felt Chigurh was "taking all the fun out". merka found the "examples of graphics appalling. A little more effort please". Then pointed to examples such as an adobe house in Tiebele, Burkina Faso.
Finally, SpatialSojourner wasn’t impressed with the AIA websites/branding. Erin Williams thought SpatialSojourner basically wanted "to turn aia.org into aiga.org. AIGA went through a major web presence overhaul a few years ago and is massively better off for it".
