Having collaborated with architects and designers throughout the world in its 130-year history, Dutch ceramic surface expert Mosa is no stranger to the growing significance of producing building materials that are durable, versatile, and of course, sustainable. Sharing these common standards in contemporary architecture and design is Mosa Scenes, one of the company's latest collections.
Mosa Scenes brings the timeless beauty of nature and the art of building spaces with effortless sophistication. Not to mention that Mosa tiles are also Cradle to Cradle-approved, with a few of their collections winning in notable awards programs like the Red Dot Awards.
Inspired by the tones and textures found in the natural environment, the tiles come in eight painterly color groups (four warm and four cool) in four textures each: grain, clay, sand and grit. In regards to functionality, whether the tile's texture resembles a powdery soft clay feel or a coarse sandy grain, both are designed in a smooth and anti-slip Micro-Relief (MR) surface.
At 6 x 6 inches, the tiles can be applied to walls, floors, terraces, and façades, and add depth to small and large spaces. Just like in nature, every tile has its own unique texture, so no two are the same. With Mosa Scenes, designers have the freedom to create the right atmosphere.
Mosa Scenes will be available in the U.S. starting this October. Learn more about Mosa here.
