The Netherlands has a rich centuries-long history of making tiles, so it's no surprise that Dutch ceramic surface specialist Mosa has been a leading expert in creating reputable products for the global architecture and design field for over 130 years.
For starters, Mosa is the world’s first ceramic tile company to earn full Cradle to Cradle Silver certification for its whole tile collection. Although Mosa has been around for a long time, they gain insight into the industry's current needs through their collaborations with architects and designers worldwide. The Maastricht-based manufacturer continues their legacy with one of their most recent tile collections, Mosa Scenes.
Mosa Scenes draws inspiration from the natural environment with its flexible range of tones. The collection comes in eight painterly color groups (four warm and four cool) in four textures each: grain, clay, sand and grit. Whether the tile's texture resembles a powdery soft clay or a coarse sandy grain, both are designed in a smooth, low maintenance and anti-slip Micro-Relief (MR) surface.
Just like in nature, no two tiles in the collection are the same, as each one was crafted with its own unique texture. At 6 x 6 inches, the tiles can be applied to walls, floors, terraces, and façades, whether it's in a private bathroom or public hospitality and retail spaces.
The versatility of Mosa Scenes gives architects and designers a chance to utilize their eye for detail to create the right atmosphere.
Mosa Scenes is now available in the U.S. Learn more about Mosa here.
