It burned shortly after completion but was repaired, Fred. That's an old picture (IIRC).
I think all the criticism Zaha is getting for her stance on human rights is totally appropriate and deserved. And I have very mixed feelings about her body of work. But I find this building in particular hard to resist - it's just gorgeous. Perfectly balanced.

Derail: whatever happened to TVCC after the fire there? I can't find anything online newer than 2009, and all of those links say "it will be rebuilt".
