Santiago Calatrava will be putting his mark on Denver with a new addition to the international airport, which includes a rail station, retail plaza, hotel and rail bridge. Plans for the new addition were revealed on Thursday in Denver. More at Inhabitat

interesting. his projects are looking less and less like light and elegant musical instruments and skeletons and more like heavy 50s dashboards and tailfins.

i think this particular project falls apart with the extruded mass of the hotel rendering its roof articulation meaningless - his re-use of canopy designs don't help either...very clumsy from what i could see - very disappointing -
Someone will have to show us where the calatrava ends and the gensler begins.
