Having the University of California System come in at #4 really isn't a surprise, but it's no thanks to UCLA, whose wasteful ways are extraordinary. The on-campus recycling programs are a joke and the amount of irrigation that takes place to keep the picturesque lawns lush is absolutely unnecessary - trust me, when I walk home at 2 or 3 in the morning from the architecture building, the amount of runoff is astounding.

The Berea College photo makes the school look like a set of poorly-designed cookie-cutter houses in the suburbs.

so if it's a greenest campuses list, wouldn't the entire UC system take up a huge chunk of that list?
berea has some much nicer facilities, n_, but there must be something about those buildings that was somehow relevant to the article?
some of them, not great, but not bad:
1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
