This transportation kiosk is parallel to the railroad, Oklahoma’s first form of transportation. The concept of rivers flows throughout the project and can be seen in the sidewalk design as well as the wave-like roof form. Sun exposure and the creation of shadows was considered which caused the pattern of the roof covering. Wind, a strong force of the area, was taken into account and thus panels on the west side of the kiosk were made rotatable. Therefore, the user can either allow ventilation and exposure to the outside, or close them to block the wind or create a more private area.
