The Sacramento City Performing Arts Center is a 1930’s era theater, updated to include the latest theatrical lighting, rigging, and sound control, improvements to acoustics and sight lines, and the addition of an orchestra pit. The design will retain aspects of its existing character while creating a contemporary look. It provides full accessibility upgrades, a new black box theater control room, scene shop upgrades, refurbished labs, classrooms and offices.
