This project is an educational campus designed specifically for the cultivation of dance, music, and theater after-school programs.  It is situated in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, which is quickly becoming an increasingly pedestrian and transit-friendly district.

The design stems from the sloped terrain of this unique corner site.  A series of three stepped outdoor informal performance spaces are created with a ramp traversing through the site to allow access from the sidewalk to a nearby public park.  The entrance to the campus building rests on the ground level while the remainder of the interior program hovers above the triple terrace and shapes an interior courtyard.
