Livingston Park at Nationwide Children's Hospital

Operated by Columbus Recreation & Parks, the 9.32 acre Livingston Park offers play areas, stroll gardens, an amphitheater, sports courts, water-play areas, historic interpretive panels, and an iconic trellis structure.

Reminiscent of the rail platform canopies that used to exist throughout the city, the trellis structure is the central feature of the park. Beneath the east end of the canopy are a series of interpretive wall panels which tell the history of the neighborhood.

This project is part of a multi-phase, master-planned park re-development at the entry area of Nationwide Children’s Hospital on Columbus’ southeast side.

Recipient of a 2013 AIA Columbus Merit Award
