The campus theatre site is located on a slope and is surrounded by several historic buildings. It is a challenge to make the campus theatre an intermediate space which makes the site accessible and permeable. 

This theater uses a ramp to adjust the sloping land and create a platform to connect the north and south sides. By emphasizing the communication platform, the theater architecture becomes a connection between several historic buildings. By doing this, it not only shows respect to the campus’ history but also gives a response to the surrounding.
