This academic project was developed for my final studio in the ESTM post-professional program at SCI-Arc. it is based on the concept of adding a buffer space between the housing units and the street. This exterior grid creates a simbiosis with the building deciding its final shape and the street deforming or reforming its public space.
A space capable of reinventing its own landscape in cities where traffic and polution is displacing green areas and social encounter locations.
The relation between this space and the street it completly permeable, different from a normal wall or partition where public and private does not interact.
This space can adapt to different locations, or even create urban systems linking diverse street blocks. A new path in a different level to the street can be created in order to separate cars and pedestrians.
